Teacher and student leadership faculty adviser Jennifer Van De Wege was named 2015-2016 Regional Adviser of the Year for the Olympic Region.

The award recognizes her leadership in promoting positive activities and leadership growth for all students. She was presented with a certificate by Principal Shawn Langston during Leadership class in the library on Feb. 11.

Susan Fortin, executive director of the Association of Washington Student leaders, said, “Jennifer Van De Wege is clearly an example of a skilled educator who is changing the lives of students through a strong leadership program that is valued by the administration. Congratulations to you all!”
