Sequim children are smiling bright thanks to SmileMobile.
The fully equipped dental service came to the Sequim Boys & Girls Club from July 26-Aug. 10 and helped more than 80 children with preventative care and treatment.
SmileMobile offers discounted dental care for low-income families so that children ages 0-18 are examined and treated by a dentist.
Parents can receive up to 90 percent off their child’s dental care depending on their income.
Local dentists Melissa Marr and Michael McDade and assistant Emma Glavin from Cedarcreek Dental Center volunteered their time to help SmileMobile staff Jeanie Romero and Paul Phillips, DDS.
The SmileMobile travels to Forks Aug. 11-27. For more information call 800-572-7835, ext. 6303.
