Soroptimist International of Sequim is accepting applications for its annual Vocational-Technical Award.

This $1,500 award will be presented to a female student enrolled in a non-degree program leading to a certificate or license.

To be eligible for this award, the applicant must reside within the Sequim School District boundaries or be a graduate of Sequim High School.

The award can be used for tuition, fees or supplies.

Trade examples include emergency medical technician (EMT), drafting, real estate, building trades, massage therapy, dental and/or medical assisting.

Applications must be received by Aug. 1, 2020.
