A two-car collision at the intersection of Woodcock Road and Kitchen-Dick Road left three people hospitalized Sunday night.
At 9:05 p.m. Aug. 25, Clallam County Sheriff’s Office and Clallam County Fire District 3 reported to the rollover.
The sheriff’s office reports Luis Onofre-Tinoco was driving east in a Ford Contour on Woodcock with a 12-year-old passenger and failed to yield right-of-way to Patricia Conway going north on Kitchen-Dick Road in a GMC Envoy.
Onofre-Tinoco collided with Conway causing his car to roll over into a yard of the northeast corner of the intersection. Conway’s vehicle ran off the roadway and hit a power pole.
Onofre-Tinoco was removed from his vehicle and transported to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles for non-life-threatening injuries.
Conway was transported to OMC with life-threatening injuries. She is in serious condition at OMC as of Tuesday.
The girl was trapped in the car, so the fire department used the jaws of life to remove her safely. She was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with life-threatening injuries.
As of Tuesday morning, she is in serious condition in intensive care.
The sheriff’s office reports no alcohol or drugs are suspected in this collision. The intersection was closed for about 30 minutes.
