Time to sign up for Head Start, Early Head Start

Head Start, Early Head Start and Early Childhood Education Assistance Program (ECEAP) are accepting applications for eligible children and families for the 2020-2021 school year in Sequim, Port Angeles, Forks, Port Townsend, Port Hadlock and Chimacum.

The programs offer both part-day and full-day services from pre-natal to 5 years.

The various programs provide adult and child education, health and nutrition, family support and some transportation services.

Parent involvement is actively encouraged and is critical to the success of the program, Family Service Coordinator Nick Cookro said.

To qualify, families must be within income guidelines have a child with a disability or have special family needs.
