Treasure Island auditions scheduled

Missoula Children’s Theatre holds auditions for “Treasure Island” at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at the Sequim High School cafeteria, 601 N. Sequim Ave.

The cast will include approximately 50-60 local students in kindergarten through 12th grade. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play.

Students wishing to audition must arrive by 3:30 p.m. and stay for the entire two-hour session. The first rehearsal begins approximately 15-30 minutes after the group audition.

Rehearsals will be conducted 3:30-8:30 p.m. daily at the Sequim High School auditorium. Participants must have a clear schedule for the entire week and be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role.

A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the conclusion of the audition. Cast members scheduled for rehearsal will be asked to bring a sack lunch, dinner or snack.

Performances will be held at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at the Sequim High School auditorium. Students in the cast will be called for dress rehearsal before the performance that day.

The Missoula Child-ren’s Theatre is a nonprofit organization based in Missoula, Mont.
