Tribe opens vaccinations for 50-plus; open slots available for March 16, March 18

Effective immediately, those aged 50 and older — including spouses who may be younger than 50 — may register for any Jamestown Family Health Clinic (JFHC) Dose 1 COVID vaccination drive-through clinic in Sequim.

Register online at vaccine.clallam.net/register.

Brent Simcosky, Director of Health Services for the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, said there are vaccine registration slots open for Tuesday, March 16, and Thursday, March 18.

“We won’t have another Dose 1 vaccine clinic until week of March 29 so we urge everyone to get registered this week,” he said.

Once online registration is complete, a ticket with date and time should be printed and brought to the clinic.

The JFHC Dose 1 COVID vaccination clinics will continue to take registrations from school and school district employees and their spouses; and essential workers, including agriculture, food processing, grocery stores, food banks, public transit, and those working in corrections and courts, regardless of age.

Residents living and working in Clallam County (including Port Angeles) are eligible.

For those people who do not have internet access, the call center number is 360-681-3447. Volunteers at the call center will use the online system to book appointments, and registrations will be on file at the check-in booth.

Check in at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave.

Those who need Dose 2, there is no need to make an appointment. Simply check-in on the date and time given when u receiving the first first dose.
