Sheriff Bill Benedict and Chief Criminal Deputy Brian King speak from 11 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Sunland Golf and Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive, Sequim; and 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Port Angeles Senior and Community Center, 328 E. Seventh St., Port Angeles.

They’ll discuss: who is at risk for identity theft, how thieves receive information and what they can do with it, what you can do to protect your personal and financial information, what you can do if you become a victim of identity theft, and how identity theft can affect you.
