Two-vehicle crash sends one to hospital

The Clallam County Sheriffs Department is investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 16 in the 200 block of Deer Park Road.

The Clallam County Sheriffs Department is investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 16 in the 200 block of Deer Park Road.

According to Clallam 2 Fire & Rescue (Port Angeles), a 2010 Hylander driven by Cari Alyn Rene entered Deer Park Road from Jetta Way and collided with a 1997 Chevy Heading northbound on Deer Park.

The van’s driver, Douglas Lahern, was transported to Olympic Memorial Hospital for evaluation.

Clallam 2 Fire & Rescue responded with two medic units and one command vehicle and cleared the scene at about 6:12 p.m.
