VA resources for women vets

The VA has set up a new online, one-on-one chat service for women veterans. The chat service will help women veterans get answers to questions about VA benefits, eligibility and services.

Women veterans can go online to chat anonymously with a trained VA female staff member in the Women Veterans Call Center. Go to the Women Veterans Care website, www.va.gov/womenvet, and click on the “Chat with the Women Veterans Call Center” icon on the lower right side.

The service is available 8 a.m.-10 p.m. EST Monday-Friday, and from 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. EST Saturdays. You do not have to be enrolled in the VA health system to use this.
