VHOCC to host online volunteer orientation

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County (VHOCC) has shifted its orientations for volunteers online.

VHOCC, a local nonprofit that serves communities from Joyce to Diamond Point, hosts the online community orientation, open to anyone wanting to learn more about hospice or curious about volunteering, from 11 a.m.-noon on Thursday, June 4.

The link to connect will be sent to those who call 360-452-1511 with an email address by noon on Wednesday, June 3.

Meeting “attendees” will need a computer with camera, microphone and speakers, or a tablet or smart phone.

VHOCC continually monitors and follows COVID-19 guidelines from the CDC, State of Washington, and Clallam County. VHOCC continually monitors and follows county, state and federal guidelines, and volunteer activities have been adjusted according. However, there is still a need for equipment delivery drivers in Sequim and Port Angeles and Sequim; a VHOCC vehicle is provided.
