The Strait Air Volks-gruppe will fill the 7 Cedars Casino parking lot with Volkswagens for its fourth annual Olympic Volks Fair and Swap Meet on Sunday, Aug. 29.

The car show is open to all air- and water-cooled Volkswagens, no matter what the year, Jacqueline Russell said. Those wishing to participate and enter to win an award should arrive at the back of the 7 Cedars Casino parking lot no later than 9:30 a.m. for registration, she said.

The event is open to the public and attendees may cast votes for Best in Show and other categories, as well as participate in a raffle.

Proceeds from entry fees, donations and raffle items will go to the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Lupus Foundation.

Lupus is an acute and chronic autoimmune disease that causes inflammation and tissue damage to virtually every organ in the body, Russell said. Information on lupus and the Lupus Foundation will be available at the show. For more information on the event, call Chad Russell at 477-5556.
