Anyone interested in learning more about Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County is encouraged to attend a volunteer orientation set for 11 a.m.-noon Thursday, Dec. 6, in Carlsborg (call 360-775-7806 for directions) or 10-11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at 810 S. Albert St., Port Angeles.

Whether interested in scheduled or episodic volunteering, there is a way for you to make a positive

contribution to our community.

The hospice group has an ongoing need for drivers and delivery assistants in Port Angeles and an immediate need for an additional grant writer and someone

familiar with WordPress for web redesign. Volunteer positions can be scheduled or as needed.

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County provides end-of-life nursing care, lends medical equipment and supplies, and offers education programs, grief support groups, one-on-one bereavement services and specialized workshops on living alone, for no charge.
