VW club helps Home Fund

Members of the Strait Air Volksgruppe recently donated $1,000 from the group's Volkswagen car show, the North Olympic Volksfair X, on July 16 at 7 Cedars Casino in Blyn to the Peninsula Home Fund sponsored by the Peninsula Daily News and the Olympic Peninsula News Group.

The club consists of Volkswagen vehicle owners and enthusiasts based in Port Angeles with more information available at www.straitairvw.com.

The Peninsula Home Fund is a safety net for children, teens, families and the elderly in Jefferson and Clallam counties when they face emergency situations and can’t find help elsewhere.

Every penny collected goes to nonprofit OlyCAP, which uses the money for hot meals for seniors,warm winter coats for children, home repairs for the low income, and more.
