Therapeutic yoga for cancer patients begins at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at Sunland Yoga Studio, 271 Blakely Blvd., Sequim, with a free introduction class and sign-up.
Classes will be from 11 a.m.-noon Thursdays starting Sept. 10. This class provides an integrated yoga experience, specifically designed to nurture the body and mind. It will incorporate gentle movements, postures and slow deep-breathing.
The class ends with deep relaxation and a guided meditation. Shelley Stratton, RN, RYT, CES, teaches the classes.
Here clients find a deeper well-being and enjoy the benefits of yoga, whether they are in active treatment or living beyond cancer, yoga can help to enhance your quality of life.
There is a limitation of 10 clients for these sessions.
