Alice Pauline Knudsen Nee Neudenbach-Zinn
July 28, 1924 ~ December 15, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Alice after a brief challenge with cancer.
Alice was born in Cleveland, Ohio and lived in many places during her lifetime.
She moved to Sequim, Washington from California, where she had retired from the Social Security Administration.
Alice was a co-founder of The Sequim Senior Singles Club. She played skillful duplicate bridge and maintained a keen and avid interest in news and politics until her death.
Her faith was very important to Alice. She joined the Sequim Community Church and was a active member of a bible study group.
Alice loved social gatherings and cooking special dishes. She celebrated her ninetieth birthday, gala style, with family and friends.
Alice was predeceased by her parents and former husband Larry.
She is survived by her sons Richard and Kris and grandchildren Ted, Heather and Liana.
Deep appreciation and thanks go out to Alice’s friends, neighbors and members of her church for their continued support. You greatly added to the quality of her life, especially during her final months on earth.
A celebration of Alice’s life will be held Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Sequim Community Church, 950 North 5th Avenue, Sequim.
At her request, her ashes were interred at the Columbarium, The Lutheran Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
