Carol Lynn Ahrens

Carol Lynn Ahrens, 80, of Sequim, Washington passed away peacefully August 30, 2016 in Sequim, Washington.

Carol was born September 13, 1935 in Atchison, Kansas to Sidney and Erma (Chapman) Ellyson.

She graduated from Renton (Washington) High School.

She raised 5 children in San Jose, California. She moved to Scotts Valley, CA in the mid-1980s, where she ran a delicatessen, and thereafter worked at the delicatessen in Safeway.

She retired to Sequim, WA where she spent the later part of her life.

She was preceded in death by Henry Jilg, Jr. her first husband; and Donald Ahrens, her second husband, her parents, and her twin brothers Sidney Robert (Bob) and John (Jack).

Survivors include her sister Phyllis, five children, Jeff, Chris, Mitch, Scott, and Jennifer and three grandsons. Phyllis and her partner Paul live in San Antonio, TX. Jeff and partner Theresa live in Austin, TX; Chris and wife Kathy live in Sequim, WA; Mitch and wife Debby live in San Jose, CA; Scott lives in San Jose, CA; and Jennifer and partner Kay live in Vallecito, CA.

The family has declined a memorial service.
