Charles (Chuck) Ernest Lewis

November 20, 1947 – June 6, 2015

Chuck was born on November 20, 1947 in the Olympic Memorial Hospital at Port Angeles to Ernest (Grand Pioneer) and Chloris (Honorary Grand Pioneer) Lewis and passed on June 06, 2015.

He fought a long and courageous battle with lung problems and was living in Newport Beach, California when he passed onto the rock band in the skies

Chuck attended Sequim Schools but graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1965.

Chuck had a great talent for singing and writing music. He performed in many places around Sequim, Forks, Port Angeles and the Seattle area. One of the groups he played with was George Washington and the Cherry Bombs.

Chuck traveled throughout the United States performing quality control work on many large roadway and airport construction projects but, never lost his love for music. He played his guitar and sang in lounges in between construction projects and sometimes while doing the quality control work.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son Chris Lewis; siblings Dolores Franklin, Sharon (Lane) Miller, David (Carol) Lewis and Dale (Jacque) Lewis; along with many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Chuck was laid to rest beside his father and mother in the Sequim View Cemetery.
