Edward L. Dowling

Edward L. Dowling, age 70, passed away at Swedish Medical – Cherry Hill on September 23, 2016.

Eddie is survived by his wife Janet, his sons Edward (Nancy) Dowling, David (Kristina) Dowling and grand children Eloise and Tyler Dowling.

Eddie was born and raised on Long Island, New York. He served in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968 as a Sergeant in the US Army, 4th Infantry Division.

Ed and Janet were married on April 18, 1971. Their family grew in 1974 with the birth of their son Eddie and, again, in 1977 with the birth of David. In 1978, the family relocated to Sacramento, California where Eddie worked as a lineman for Paci c Bell before retiring in 2002. Ed and Janet relocated once more to Sequim, WA where they built a beautiful home to enjoy their retirement.

Eddie enjoyed all things related to cars and racing. He also loved discussing the ever elusive Sasquatch. He had a knack for cooking, and his fine tuned spaghetti sauce was loved by all.
