Eve Brown

Eve Christine Brown, age 94, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, May 30th.

She is survived by her son, Bradley Brown (Jane); daughter, Pamela Verginia (Robert); three adored grand daughters, Christine Smith (Brian), Lindsey Gehrig O’Steen (Patrick) and Lauren Brown; and a great-grandson, Connor O’Steen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William

“Bill” Brown, and son, Stephen.

Eve was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C.

She and Bill married in 1946, settled in the Seattle

area and then moved to Mercer Island in 1961, where they raised their children and lived for 26 years. In 1987, with Bill retired, they moved to the Sequim golf community of Sunland. While it was hard to leave MI, they fell equally in love with Sequim and their community there. They returned to the Seattle area about nine years ago.

Eve kept active in her life with many great friends, so very important to her, and with family; with golf, bridge, travel,PEO,hospital volunteerwork,sports,theEpisco- pal Church (Emmanuel and St. Luke’s), her be loved dog, Nellie, and hosting happy hours.

At her request, there will be no service apart from a family time of remembrance.

This world has lost a lover of life with a quick wit and a warm smile.
