Janet Barrett

November 6, 1934 – January 12, 2016

Janet Barrett died at 10:00 p.m. on January 12, 2016. She died peacefully in Bellingham at Whatcom Hospice House.

Janet was born on November 6, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA.

Janet was a loving aunt, sister, mother and dear friend. She lived a life full of beauty and adventure. She lived and worked in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Bellingham, Port Angeles and Sequim.

She is survived by son Les Shapiro, her sisters Marie Repici, Dee Gubin, Rita Marcy and Bernadette Fidanza and brother Joseph Repici, many nieces and nephews including Beth Chisholm (Tom husband) and their children Tommy Dean, Sahale and Zachary of Bellingham, WA.

The Family is grateful for all the nurses and doctors that helped Janet in her final weeks.

Janet is free to fly high to the mountain tops and feel the fresh rain on her face. Her laughter will be missed and her spirit will be cherished always.
