Mary M Taylor, aged 87, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, in Oak Harbor, WA. Born on April 24, 1938, Mary’s life was characterized by her unwavering kindness and dedication to her community and family.

Mary was a beacon of warmth and generosity, often found at the heart of community service and family gatherings. Her commitment to making others feel welcomed and cared for was evident through her numerous volunteer activities. She was actively involved at Trinity United Methodist Church in Sequim,

where she contributed to memorial reception services, stocked the free pantry, participated in women’s Bible studies, and supported many church events. She was also a dedicated volunteer with Sequim Community Aid.

Her home was a hub of love and activity, where she raised her daughters with the same spirit of community service, guiding them through 4-H and Girl Scouts. Mary also enjoyed hobbies such as knitting, quilting, gardening, and reading.

Mary is survived by her brother, Phil Miller; daughters, Amy Samuels and Beth Lippold; grandchildren, Hannah Samuels, K.J. Lippold, and Joseph Lippold; and great-grandchild, Jose Nicolas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Amy Miller, and her loving husband, Ronald Taylor.

A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 North Blake Ave., Sequim, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 1 pm. Mary’s legacy of kindness and community service will continue to inspire those who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed.
