Lori Lee Martinson-Christie

December 21, 1963 – June 18, 2020

Lori passed away surrounded by family at the Olympic Medical Center on June 18th, 2020 after a brave battle with ALS. Today, December 21st, is her 58th birthday here on earth and her family chooses to continue celebrating her beautiful life, which we know continues in a better place than this – she is an angel to so many.

Lori was known in her beloved community of Sequim as an avid outdoors woman, photographer, realtor and owner of Rainshadow Realty. She is also known as “the cute lady who found the mammoth molar on the beach.” The legacy she leaves is one of kindness, generosity, inspiration, empowerment and love. She was one of the most beautiful women who ever lived, inside and out.

She is survived by 2 adoring children, a daughter – Andrea’ and a son – Robert. She also leaves behind dozens of siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved very much, including her twin – Romy, sisters Lisa and Laura, and brother Scott. She was engaged to be married to a wonderful man, Dean.

To those who miss her and wish to honor her: Spend time with nature, in her favorite places like Olympic National Park or the Dungeness Spit. Dance with joy when your favorite classic rock song comes on the radio. Treat yourself and your family with loving kindness and let her example lead you on.

“You are so loved”
