Todd Andrew Alstrup

Todd Andrew Alstrup passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2025 at the age of 54.

Born in Perth Amboy and raised in North Brunswick, New Jersey. He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Andrew Alstrup and his sister, Megan Joann Alstrup.

He is survived by his loving mother, Andrea Horvath Alstrup, his beloved daughter, Ayla Naomi Alstrup and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Todd attended the Institute of Audio Research in New York City where he specialized in music production and video engineering. His education became the foundation for a rich and diverse career, including designing and building recording studios.

After relocating to the West Coast in 2005, Todd made his home in Sequim, Washington, where he continued his work in music and developed a construction company.

Todd’s greatest joy and source of pride was his daughter, Ayla. A devoted and loving father, Todd was always cheering her on, especially when it came to her dancing.

He treasured traveling to her state-wide competitive performances.

Todd’s life was filled with meaningful work and deep love. A true son of New Jersey, Todd will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though his time with us ended far too soon, we take comfort in the memories he shared, the love he gave, and the legacy he leaves behind.

A private celebration of life was held in Sequim on July 27, 2025. Those who wish to honor Todd’s memory are welcome to consider a donation to their charity of choice.
