2013 ‘Graduates’ tourney seeks sponsors, golfers

The Sequim High Parents for a Substance-Free Graduation are sponsoring the Golf for Graduates Tournament on May 25 at SkyRidge Golf Course to raise money for the annual 2013 substance-free graduation party.

Golf for Graduates is seeking business sponsors from throughout the community at several levels, from $25 to $400. Sponsorships at each level are a great way to advertise a business and show community support. All levels include having business logos or name displayed on the course the day of the event with extras added at each higher sponsorship level.

These range from a Putting Green Sponsorship for $25 to a business sponsor for $400 (four green fees, honey pot and gold sponsor deal.

The tournament is a four-person scramble with a twist: Sequim High golf team members are available to the highest bidders to play on one’s team.

Cost is $200 for 18 holes of golf and lunch; honey pots are $40 each.

Carts are available for an additional $12/seat.

The event also includes a putting and chipping contest prior to the 9 a.m. shotgun start.

Other event features include a 50/50 raffle and silent auction.
