The range opens at 7 a.m. and final registration is at 2 p.m.

The tournament features 40 full-size 3-D animals such as elk, deer and even dinosaurs set at unmarked distances along the trail that meanders throughout the range’s 20 wooded acres on 374 E. Arnette Road in Port Angeles.

Rangefinders are allowed if shooting for score.

Adult fees are $12 for one day, $20 for both days. Breakfast and lunch are served for a small fee. Camping is available on site.

Awards are given for all age groups from youth to seniors; door prizes also are awarded.

Membership with the Wapiti Bowmen grants year-round access to the 28 field targets at ranges from 35 feet to 80 yards with uphill, downhill and level shooting conditions.

In addition, members may use a heated 20-yard indoor range and clubhouse and an outdoor practice range with ranges from 10-70 yards.
