Sequim’s varsity baseball squad dropped a pair of league games to Kitsap foes last week.
The Wolves dropped a 12-3 decision to Central Kitsap on March 31 after the Cougars broke open a tie game with a nine-run sixth inning.
Michael Grubb and Zach McCracken each had an RBI single for Sequim (1-2).
Sequim fell 18-0 to 3A Bainbridge on the road on April 5, wit the Spartans posting six runs in the first inning and 12 in the second.
Grubb had Sequim’s lone hit as Bainbridge’s Luke Lavigne held Sequim scoreless and struck out six over four innings.
Toppy Robideau came on in relief of Ricky Jennings and worked two-and-a-third innings, giving up one unearned run.
Josiah George was 3-for-4 with two doubles and 4 RBIs for Bainbridge.
The Wolves (1-3) were scheduled to host Bainbridge on April 6; results were not available at press time.

The Wolves travel to Port Angeles on April 14 and host the Roughriders on April 16, kicking off the first of three home-and-away match-ups: Sequim is at Olympic on April 21 and hosts the Trojans the following day, and caps the 2021 season with games against North Kitsap on April 28 (away) and April 29 (home).
