The annual Bob Cup golf tournament, honoring the memory of Bob Duncan, a lifelong Sequim resident, was held for the 10th year on July 26 at the Cedars at Dungeness Golf Course.

Jake Tjernell’s team, which included Lance Scott, Jeff Sparks and Jesse Francis, won the event.

All funds raised support the Clallam County Orcas, the local Special Olympics program.

Duncan was a Unified Partner in the program with his brother-in-law David Dow.

Each year’s event helps pay for uniforms, equipment, travel, practice facilities and more.

The program is all-volunteer and provides year-round sports and competition, such as bowling, basketball, athletics, swimming, softball, bocce, and golf for athletes who have developmental disabilities.
