Bainbridge 57, Sequim 51
The Wolves (8-2, 13-2) had a rough fourth quarter on the road, giving up 22 in the final frame and ceding the contest to the Spartans.
According to the Bainbridge Island Review, the Spartans (13-3, 8-2) entered the game on a 10-game win streak, and during the win streak, Bainbridge has only let up 60 points twice.
Previously, the Wolves beat Bainbridge 69-46 in December.
On Jan. 24, Sequim led at halftime 23-22 and came out of halftime aggressive, scoring two consecutive buckets on the Spartans, but shot choices and inability to maintain control of the ball allowed the Spartans to narrow a five-point deficit to one with four minutes remaining in the third quarter.
Bainbridge tied the game at 38 to open the fourth quarter with a three-pointer, and Sequim was called for consecutive fouls with the Spartan taking the lead 47-46 and continuing to score and build their lead.
Jericho Julmist led Sequim with 15 points and Ethan Melnick added 11 and Solomon Sheppard had 10.
