There may be no drama for Seattle baseball fans, but local senior softball action is heating up with just a handful of games left in the Peninsula Senior Softball League season.
The Sequim 7 Cedars/Oasis squad split a pair of games last week, tipping Port Angeles 13-10 and dropping a nail-biter, 7-6, to Port Townsend on Aug. 4.
Sequim holds on to the league’s top spot with a 10-3 record, followed by Port Angeles (9-4), Port Townsend (6-8) and Bremerton (2-12).
