The Sequim softball team exploded for the second straight game, collecting 21 hits, including a pair of home runs, and crushing Bremerton 25-1 on April 25.
Taylee Rome hit for the cycle, going 4-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double and a single. She scored five runs and drove in four. Mia Pozernick went 5-for-5 with a home run, a double and seven RBIs. She also scored three runs.
Michaela Green was 4-for-4 at the plate with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs. Angel Wagner was 3-for-4 with a double and a triple, scoring twice and driving in two runs. Jordan Kidd had a pair of hits and four RBIs.
Wagner pitched a complete-game win, going five innings and allowing three hits and one earned run. She struck out seven.
Two days later on the road, Sequim fell to the state’s third-ranked 2A team, falling 15-3 to North Kitsap’s Vikings.
Sequim was limited to four hits in the game, led by Pozernick’s two-run home run.
Rome also doubled and scored for the Wolves.
Sequim (7-3 in Olympic League, 7-6 overall) was scheduled to play at North Mason on May 2 — details were not available at press time.

The Wolves finish their 2023 home schedule when they host Kingston on May 4.
Sequim is at Olympic on May 9 and at Port Angeles on May 12.
