Fitness, football offered at Sequim Wolf Pack camps

Students ages 6-13 (K-middle school) don’t need to be football players to benefit from Sequim Wolf Pack Youth Football’s camps this summer.

The first camp is geared for conditioning and speed drills and is open to anyone wanting to work on those areas. It meets from 5-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 24-27, at the Sequim Middle School football fields.

The second camp is geared more for football players, incorporating some of the conditioning aspects of the first camp but also including football drills, positions and rudimentary plays.

The camp meets from 5-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, Aug. 12-15 at the Middle School football fields.

Camps are $20 each, or sign up for both for $30. All students registered receive a T-shirt.

“This is a great way to get the kids involved throughout the summer,” said camp organizer and varsity SWP head coach Brian Savage.

“We’re really looking forward to working with the kids, getting under way and having a great season!”
