“The girls worked hard to get this win tonight,” SHS head coach Joclin Julmist said.
Jolene Vaara had 17 points and three blocked shots, while Hannah Bates sank four 3-pointers and finished with 13 points and team highs in assists (seven) and steals (five).
“Hannah was amazing tonight; she made some big baskets,” Julmist said.

Taryn Johnson was solid on both sides of the court, racking up nine points, seven rebounds and three steals.
“Taryn had her best game of the season tonight,” Joclin Julmist said. “She was everywhere. She rebounded, played great defense and made some timely baskets.”
He credited Bobbi Mixon for timely second half defense and reserve Sammie Bacon for a spark off the bench.
