Sequim’s Wolves took a loss in their season-opening meet last week, but still managed four district meet-qualifying marks.

The Wolves scored a number of first place finishes but a deep squad from East Jefferson edged SHS 72-63 at the YMCA of Sequim on Sept. 14.

Despite the loss, Sequim High senior Hi’ilei Robinson earned district times in the 50 and 100 free, while Annabel Ellefson, a freshman, earned district times in the 50 free and 100 breaststroke.

The Wolves are at Kingston on Sept. 21 and Bremerton on Sept. 28 before hosting the 1A Klahowya Eagles on Sept. 30.
