Sequim’s littlest wrestlers are getting a jump start on the fundamentals. More than 30 wrestlers take part in Sequim Mat Rats, a training program preparing wrestlers of tomorrow for middle school and high school competitive wrestling.They learning different wrestling techniques and safety along with being given a few chances to practice with their buddies. Mat Rats holds its middle school tournament from 3:30-6 p.m. today, March 27, at the Community School gym and its last session meets Thursday in the gym.
