They may come from different schools, but in the summer these athletes ride for one team.
The Peninsula Junior Rodeo team, made up of youths from Sequim, Port Angeles and Port Townsend schools, combined to earn more than 20 top-five placings at the Kitsap Junior Rodeo in Silverdale June 18-20.
Amelia Herman won all-around buckaroo, Emily VanAusdle took home the top junior girl award and Colton Barnett was named runner-up in the peewee division.
