Locals wrangle top spots at junior rodeo event

Saddles, buckles and plenty of pride were up for grabs at the 2010 Peninsula Junior Rodeo Association rodeo, held Aug. 28-29 at the Clallam County Fairgrounds.

Despite some strong finishes in individual categories, no locals took home saddles for being top age division riders.

Still, Olympic Peninsula riders nabbed four first-place finishes and eight runner-up spots at the annual rodeo.
