Men’s basketball league starting

The Port Angeles Parks & Recreation Department is hosting a men’s basketball league this fall.

The season begins the week of Nov. 7 and is open to all men ages 18 and older.

Cost is $440 per team, plus individual fee ($28 for Port Angeles city residents, $42 for non-residents).

Team packets are available at the parks and recreation office, 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.

Players without a team may call and get on a “free agent” list.

Deadline for registration is Oct. 23.
