Port Angeles BMX Track will be at the Clallam County Fair Aug. 14-15 promoting “no pedal biking” with Strider Bikes.

It’s the group’s third year hosting Strider races, aiming to get youths balancing on a bike before pedals. Port Angeles BMX riders will be racing at the track Saturday, Aug. 16, (signups 2-3 p.m.) and Sunday, Aug. 17 (signups noon-1 p.m.).

Racing is free that weekend and the track has Strider bikes for youths to try. The BMX group will be raffling off a Strider bike donated by Port Angeles Power Equipment on Aug. 17.
