Photo: Bodystrong Academy athletes compete at national event

A trio of athletes from Sequim’s own Bodystrong Taekwon-do Academy brought back medals from the United States Taekwon-do Federation National Championships held in Denver, Colo., July 20 and 21. Black belts Linda Allen (middle row, third from right) and Larry Muckley (back row, second from right), and red belt Hunter Muckley (front row, second from right), along with instructor Master Brandon Stoppani (back row, fourth from left), combined to bring back two silvers and a bronze. Competitors from three Washington state Taekwon-do schools entered the tourney.
