Registration is now open for OAT Run, a 12k and half marathon trail race that takes place on the Olympic Adventure Trail west of Port Angeles on April 1.

For 2017, the first three miles of the half marathon are re-routed because of planned timber harvest activities along the trail, but the final 10 miles are the same as previous years.

The 12k route is unchanged from previous years.

Registration is $40 for the 12k and $50 for the half marathon. Entry includes a post-race hot meal and beverages at Harbinger Winery, and an OAT Run pint glass award.

A portion of race proceeds goes to the Peninsula Trails Coalition and to Backcountry Horsemen Peninsula Chapter, for the construction and maintenance of the Olympic Discovery Trail and Olympic Adventure Trail.
