A new date is set for the Sequim Softball Booster Club’s Golf for Softball tourney, now slated for Saturday, April 8, at SkyRidge Golf Course, 7015 Old Olympic Highway.

The tourney, a four-person scramble, has a shotgun start at 9 a.m. — check-in at 8 a.m. Cost is $50 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, range balls and barbecue lunch. Carts are $15 per seat.

More than $2,000 worth of raffle prizes are up for grabs, event organizers say; tickets are one for $5 or five for $20.The tourney has a 20-team maximum.

Money raised by this event helps pay for the Sequim High fastpitch team’s tournament fees and travel expenses.
