On June 9, the Grey Wolves Senior Softball Club tournament team The Crocs played in the Chip Cipriano/Norton Tournament held in Federal Way — a fundraiser for fighting cystic fibrosis.

The Crocs played 1st American Title and Ruth Realty twice. The Crocs had two all-stars, John White and Norm Forney, both hitting well over .750 in the three games.

The competition was a chance to tune up and get ready for the Washington State Senior Games, held in Shelton from July 11-12, and then — for their first time ever — The Crocs will head in October to St. George, Utah, to compete in The Huntsman Games.

The event is the largest senior softball tournament in the nation, featuring more than 300 softball teams with competing athletes from about two dozen countries.
