Sequim’s select middle school team takes Hoopfest crown

Sequim girls' team takes first at Hoopfest while other local competitors place high

The Sequim select seventh-grade Lady Wolves basketball team went 4-0 to take the championship at the Spring Hoopfest on March 5-6.

The girls defeated teams Clallam Bay, Enumclaw, Gig Harbor (Peninsula Seahawks) and Port Angeles (Avalanche White), whom they played in the championship game and won 29-15.
