Sixkiller’s annual tourney brings pack of Huskies to Sequim

The purple and gold once again aimed for greens last week, as a slew of former University of Washington sports greats took to the fairways for the Seventh Annual Sonny Sixkiller Husky Golf Classic at The Cedars at Dungeness on July 28.

Presented by Wilder Auto Center, the tourney saw 39 teams and 195 golfers take each other on in a fundraiser for the Olympic Medical Center Foundation.

The winning team of Todd Negus, Paul Reed, Jordan Negus and Chad Wagner, joined by Husky great John Buller, shot a 17-under-par 55 in the scramble-format event.
