SARC hosts open house
The Sequim Aquatic Recreation Center, 610 N. Fifth Ave., hosts an open house from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12.
The event features facility tours and free demonstration classes in Zumba, tai chi, yoga and endurance circuit training. Classes are subject to change depending upon availability of instructor.

Tickets still available for soccer benefit
Tickets for the Kitsap Pumas-versus-Peninsula United soccer game in March are available at Brian’s Sporting Goods, 542 W. Washington St., Sequim. Also available at the event, tickets are $5 for youths younger than 12, $8 for adults and $15 per family.
The game is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at the Sequim High School soccer stadium, 601 N. Sequim Ave. Gates open at 12:30 p.m.
Proceeds go to Sequim Family Advocates to help construct the Sequim Community Playfields.
‘Tour’ is back in Dungeness
The 14th annual “Tour De Dungeness” bicycle races are set for Saturday, March 12, and Saturday, March 19.
The races begin at 9:45 a.m. both days; they start and end at the parking lot at the north end of Kitchen Dick Road. The course is a 12-mile loop using Lotzgesell, Cays, Anderson, Sequim-Dungeness, Woodcock and Kitchen-Dick roads.

SkyRidge hosts tourneys
SkyRidge Golf Course (7015 Old Olympic Highway) is home to a pair of special tournaments in March.
The fifth annual Shamrock Scramble for Charity tournament is set for a 9:30 a.m. start Saturday, March 19. The four-person scramble costs $180 per team or $45 per player. The fee pays for golf, lunch (a traditional Irish “Mulligan” stew), range balls, an optional honey pot and four KP holes. Carts are $12 per seat. A skills challenge follows golf.
The Gut Buster tournament is slated for Saturday, March 26. The $55 entry fee pays for golf, lunch, range balls, honey pot and four KP holes, plus longest putt competition entry. The tourney, set as individual medal play format, features men’s and women’s divisions along with gross and net winners. Carts are $15 per seat.

‘Clover’ volleyball tourney set
The third-annual Four-Leaf Clover Co-ed Volleyball Tournament is set for Saturday, March 12, at Port Angeles High School.
The format is reverse fours, meaning the net will be at women’s height, men must hit behind the 10-foot line, men cannot block women and there can be any gender mixture on teams.
The tourney features A (competitive) and B (recreational) divisions, with prizes for winning teams in each division.
Cost is $80 per team, with a maximum of 16 teams in the tourney.
Proceeds go to the Port Angeles High School volleyball program.
