Pre-Christmas golf tourney set

SkyRidge Golf Course will hold a Pre-Christmas 18-hole Golf Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 14.

The event has a triple-six format from the green tees with six holes of scramble play, six of better ball and six of aggregate play to wrap the round. A total of 28 two-person teams can register.

The cost is $80 per team and includes green fees, range balls and food. A honey pot is an optional $30 per team and power carts are available for $10 per seat.

Sequim Little League 2020 registration opens

Registration for the 2020 season of Sequim Little League is now open at www.sequimlittleleague.com.

New to the league this year is an intermediate team for boys of ages 12 and 13.

In-person registration and player assessment of boys and girls ages 9 and older are set for Saturday, Jan. 11, and Sunday, Feb. 2; times and locations will be announced soon.

Opening Day for the league is set for Saturday, March 21, which includes a ceremony, games and other family activities.
