Little, Bear earn all-league nods

Sequim boys tennis players were well represented on the Olympic League Boys Tennis All-League Team, as selected by league coaches.

Back-to-back Olympic League singles champion Garret Little topped the team. The sophomore posted a 3-1 mark at district play to finish third and advance to May’s state tournament. Little is 32-1 in his singles career.

Sequim teammate Connor Bear joined Little on the team.

Koda Robinson was the Wolves’ League Sportsmanship Award winner and the team earned the overall Team Sportsmanship Award.

Ellefson earns district times

Sequim High sophomore Colby Ellefson, competing with Port Angles High’s boys swimming team, earned a West Central District meet-qualifying mark in the 200 and freestyle events at Bremerton on Dec. 9.

Port Angeles out-pointed Bremerton’s Knights, 111-35.
