Sun Fun Color Run March 7

Registration is open for the Sequim Sunshine Festival Sun Fun Color Run, scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 7.

This family friendly event begins and ends at Carrie Blake Community Park and has a 1K and a 5K option with color stations along the course.

Registration includes a Sun Fun Color Run T-shirt, race bib, finisher medal, sunglasses, and a starting line color blast bag.

Paddlers book signing nixed

The Olympic Peninsula Paddlers had to cancel a special book-signing event with renowned sea kayak coach/instructor Gordon Brown. The group had scheduled the event for Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church, 925 N.
