Three days, three aces, one hole

Sunland Golf & Country Club may have seen a first at its course: Three players each scoring a hole-in-one on back-to-back days, all on the course’s fifth hole.

On July 14, Bob Berard recorded his fifth career ace, from 148 yards away with his 4 hybrid club.

On July 15, Frank Herodes sank his third hole-in-one, also from 148 yards away with his 3 hybrid club.

Finally, on July 16, Ann Hester recorded her first ever ace, driving the 141 yards off the tee with a 5 wood on the fifth hole.
